The sprite animation isn't the whole problem, the main reason why sprites are losing popularity is because they offer the same shit. Same jokes, same battles without reason, same crossovers with Dragon Ball Z, same sounds from shows and sitcoms.
thats why the sprite animation is losing terrain here.
As for the flash, it was very well animated for a quickie. Brian still kinda looks like if he was hand drawn, I mean, It's not pixelated enough to be considered a sprite, but well, it's just my opinion.

Note: If you really want to save sprites try to make a truly sprite animation, I highly recommend you using VG sprites (mario, asmus, link, etc) Just like you did in your flash of mario :)

It was way better than this, but still, was OK.
Your animation skills are amazing, and this flash is from 2006. I loved the idea of reviving some of the old ideas (but great) of Randy, was very good. But however, was not original. Don't take it bad either, I say you did an amazing job.
I'm pretty sure that someone told you this before, though :/

The only scene that made me laugh was when yoshi ate the fruit that luigi was trying to get. However the animation was nicely done and the quality was OK, not great but OK.
But what boils my piss is the scene number 2. For the love of God, using sounds from sitcoms or movies are not original and stopped being funny years ago.
Also you took the sound of luigi saying "Awww fuck!" from a flash from Randy Solem. But well you have all the right to use it since he didn't copyright it hehe.

Man, I do love random stuff so much. Even if the visual wasn't the greath thing, it entertained me and gave me a couple of laughs.
This movie had a nice touch using the Robot chicken style (an awesome show by the way), it gave it a feeling of randomness.
And not to mention the good quality audio, was very high.
Conclusion: Epic win!

"Not bad for a practice flash."

I enjoyed this flash, to be honest.
Specially because it had a pigeon :3 But anyway, even if the plot wasn't the great thing, but the animation wasn't bad. The art and drawings are good, you can still improve, but next time, use a higher FPS rate. I highly recommend you to use at least 25 if you want a smooth animation. Still is OK.
Conclusion: Keep practicing ;)

Hey DariusR, Glad you made another sprite flash again :D
Even if the story didn't make laugh so hard, the animation was smooth and enjoyable. With a great quality, specially the audio.
Unfortunately mario bloopers/spoofs are veeeery old so that's why you got that low score :(
However the flash was very good, and keeep defending the name of the sprite animation sir ;)
